Welcome to IEEE WCCI 2014
IEEE WCCI conference is one the largest technical evente in the field of computational intelligence.
Official Announcement: IEEE WCCI 2026 Comes to Maastricht (21–26 June 2026)
The IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (IEEE WCCI 2026) will be held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, from 21–26 June 2026. Hosted under the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS), WCCI is widely recognized as the flagship global gathering for computational intelligence research and practice, bringing together international communities across theory, algorithms, and real-world applications.
One Congress, Three Flagship Conferences
IEEE WCCI 2026 co-locates three major conferences under one roof—creating a single, high-density venue for cross-pollination between neural networks, fuzzy systems, and evolutionary computation:
- IJCNN — International Joint Conference on Neural Networks
- FUZZ-IEEE — IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems
- IEEE CEC — IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation
This structure is designed to accelerate interdisciplinary exchange and shorten the path from fundamental ideas to deployable methods across modern AI/CI workloads.
Why WCCI 2026 Matters in Today’s AI Landscape
Computational intelligence has entered a new phase shaped by foundation models, hybrid learning systems, scalable optimization, and safety- and trust-driven deployment needs. WCCI 2026 provides a unified forum to discuss:
- Next-generation learning architectures and training paradigms
- Evolutionary and population-based optimization for complex engineering systems
- Fuzzy systems and human-centric uncertainty modeling
- Robust, reliable, and trustworthy AI for safety-critical domains
- Interpretable and data-efficient methods bridging academia and industry
Venue & Host City
WCCI 2026 will take place in Maastricht, a historic European city known for its international connectivity and vibrant research culture. The congress venue is listed as MECC Maastricht.
Call for Papers & Key Dates
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original contributions. According to the IEEE CIS call for papers, the paper submission deadline is 31 January 2026.
